One of Yshield's best known products is electrosmog shielding paint
This paint has been part of the company's product range since 2003. This proprietary developed and manufactured paint is carbon-based, meaning it contains graphite soot and carbon fibres to provide large-scale electromagnetic field shielding on any surface to which the paint adheres.
The effectiveness of the paint has been tested and certified by TÜV. But the company also has a professional EMC measurement laboratory in-house to check the quality of the paints on a daily basis. What is the performance of this paint? Shielding attenuation, when applied in one coat to a given surface, is 44 dB measured at 1 GHz. If you apply two coats of the same paint, it is 53 dB and if you apply three coats, it is 60 dB.
We propose to use one litre of electro-smog shielding paint per 4 m2 for efficiency, which can be used both indoors and outdoors. The DND Telecom webshop sells electrosmog protection paint in 1 and 5 litre packs.
