Goobay LNBs for satellite reception systems

Which Goobay LNB suits your satellite reception system?

Frequency range, noise figure and signal gain

All three models have a low-band input frequency range of 10.70-11.70 GHz and a high-band input frequency range of 11.70-12.75 GHz. The low-band output frequency range is 950-1950 MHz, while the high-band output frequency range is 1100-2150 MHz. The low-band LO frequency is 9.75 GHz, and the high-band LO frequency is 10.6 GHz. Installing the Goobay LNB

Installation, removal, maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The LNB must be installed with the SAT coaxial cable connection facing downwards and the receiving section aligned towards the satellite dish.

1. Check that the package is complete and undamaged.
2. Compare the technical specifications of the connected products.
3. Connect the LNB outputs to the SAT coaxial cables.
4. Secure the LNB in the satellite dish holder.
5. Protect unused outputs with sealing caps.

A SAT receiver signal level display, compass or SAT finder can be used to align the satellite dish. Switch on the receiver and television, select a programme position and slowly move the antenna.

Coaxial cables and output connections

Each output must be connected using a SAT coaxial cable leading to the SAT receiver or multiswitch. Unused outputs must be protected against weather conditions with sealing caps. Connectors and circuits must not be short-circuited, the housing must not be opened, and the product must not be modified or disassembled. A defective or mechanically damaged device must not be put into operation.

For switching between satellites, the SAT receiver requires a DiSEqC 1.0 or higher signal, except when using the Single LNB.
