Thickening additive based on polyurethane, specifically for YSHIELD shielding paints. Used to increase viscosity, for example when screen printing or applying thicker layers.

Recommended application:

• Preparation: the surface to be painted must be clean and properly primed
• Mixing: mix VISC5 with the shielding paint in the recommended ratio (0.1%–2.0%)
• Application: apply the paint using the desired method (brush, roller, spray, screen, etc.), taking into account the increased viscosity
• Grounding: when using shielding paint, always ensure proper grounding for full shielding effectiveness (e.g., grounding tape, conductive accessories)

• To create a denser coating with shielding paint
• For screen printing or other special application requirements
• If you want to fine-tune the viscosity of the paint to the application technology
