The unit supports XGS-PON, XG-PON and GPON networking on the same platform. All eight PON ports operate in XG(S)-PON and GPON Combo mode by default, while each port can also be individually switched to GPON mode. The unit provides 1 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45, 4 x 25GE SFP28 and 2 x 100GE QSFP28 uplink interfaces for high-bandwidth and high-speed data transmission. It supports deployment in low-density areas, remote or sparsely populated areas and industrial parks, as well as FTTM applications and shared site or rack deployment with wireless base stations. The platform also supports migration from GPON to XG(S)-PON by changing the operating mode of individual PON ports according to network requirements.
