The Midland G18 Pro is a radio set containing four PMR handheld transceivers, four MA 25-M speaker microphones, individual charging units and a hard carrying case. The radios feature Noise Cancelling, a backlit LCD display, IP67 protection and testing according to MIL-STD-810G.

The Noise Cancelling function filters environmental background noise. The Scrambler encodes the voice signal and enables communication that can be understood by radios using the same Scrambler setting. CTCSS and DCS coding can be used to create separate working groups on a shared radio channel.
