Further details of YShield ECO54 Ecological Shielding Paint 5 Liter

The test standard is TM-09 (testing for health-related ingredients and emissions, product and process monitoring, control of input materials). This means that this paint is free of preservatives, emissions (VOC), plasticizers (SVOC), solvents, and is highly breathable. The TÜV guidelines TM-07/TM-09 are largely compatible with international standards from UL Greenguard, Intertek Clean Air, etc. according to LEED v4 and is therefore mutually recognizable.


This shielding paint shields high-frequency electromagnetic fields (HF) and has been tested from 600 MHz to 40 GHz in accordance with the IEEE Std 299-2006 standard. Since high frequencies at 40 GHz are not commonly used yet, the shielding attenuation values we specify always apply at 1 GHz. This shielding paint with an electrically conductive surface also shields low-frequency alternating electric fields (LF).


Ready for 5G: Some companies offer “special” 5G shielding products. This product shields 5G frequencies even without advertising! In the shielding diagrams, you will find two gray bars with the 5G frequency spectra FR1 (600 MHz - 6 GHz) and FR2 (24 GHz - 40 GHz).


This product with an electrically conductive surface has to be integrated into the functional-equipotential bonding (FEB).
