How does tree planting work?

The net amount of the purchased contribution is used to finance tree planting and maintenance projects, and this amount goes exclusively and directly to the Forest Savers Foundation (https://erdomentok.hu/). It is important to note that this contribution does not grant ownership of a specific tree, but rather supports a sustainable reforestation program. The purchased contribution covers the cost of planting approximately one tree. The project’s environmental impact unfolds over the long term, spanning several years. Since carbon sequestration occurs over the course of several years as the trees grow, the contribution does not result in immediate carbon neutrality, but rather ensures its support over the long term.

Our goal is to ensure the transparency of our program, which is why we regularly tally the number of trees planted and, after planting (in the spring or fall), we notify you via email about the completed project and inform our customers of the results achieved.
