TMG Alpha 17 beacon 2 heads version

The purpose of the device

Laser blockers temporarily inhibit the effectiveness of laser-based speed measurement methods, but cannot predict or prevent radar and other measurement methods. Laser-principle speed measurements can occur in police and civilian cars on the seat next to the driver's seat, on a tripod, either manually or by leaving the device completely alone in an automatic mode, either from a moving or stationary car.

Fixed radar speedometers in the VEDA system can NOT be either flagged or blocked by laser blockers. We can effectively predict these types of traffic cameras with GPS detectors or conventional radar detectors, but even using these, you must slow down to the speed limit as they only indicate the measurement!

Optimized specifically for laser rangefinder cars
TMG Alpha 17 with advanced algorithm to minimize false alarms for laser rangefinder equipped cars.

How the device works

The safest protection against laser readings is provided by the laser blockers, which detect the police reading and withhold the speed signal for a few seconds (the police officer cannot see our speed), so we can safely correct our speed.

Installing the device

The device requires installation in all cases. The sensors can only do their job if they are correctly positioned and the device must be connected to the car's electrical system. You should seek the help of a specialist who can carry out the installation professionally. Find your nearest partner in our national dealer network.

The device is fully flush-mounted, invisible - the driver is informed by the LED indicator and can also mute the car radio if required.

The TMG Alpha 17 can now be updated and calibrated via smartphone.

A properly equipped protection system provides 99% protection, but there is always a 1% chance that the police measuring device will detect the speed of the vehicle (strong sunlight, dirty sensor, other physical obstacle, etc.). When the sound of the measurement detection is heard and the LED light is on, slow down to the maximum speed limit for the road section and then switch off the protection system so as not to disturb the police officer in his work.

The fixed radar speed cameras in the VÉDA system cannot be either signaled or blocked by the laser blockers. We can effectively predict these types of traffic cameras using GPS detectors or conventional radar detectors, but you should slow down even if you use these, as they only indicate the measurement!

Because the device may interfere with police laser speed cameras, which also operate at 904 Nm, the manufacturer and distributor warn the customer to use the device only in countries where it is not against the law to use such a device. The manufacturer and the distributor shall not be liable for any penalties, damages or any other detriment whatsoever arising from the use of the device or from improper installation or for accidents resulting from driver negligence.

The manufacturer and the distributor shall not be liable for any penalty, damage or any other detriment of any kind arising from exceeding the speed limit and/or from the use or improper installation of the device. The device is not intended to promote speeding but to prevent the consequences of accidental speeding. Always observe the speed limits and drive according to visibility and road conditions. Radar detectors are not infallible. There may be situations where it gives late or no indication due to certain external circumstances. The reason for this is not due to a malfunction of the device, but to a law of physics. The blocking effect of laser blockers is usually most effective within a distance of 150 to 2,000 metres from the measuring device.
