The Midland CT990-EBR is a dual-band VHF/UHF handheld amateur transceiver operating within the 144-146 MHz and 430-440 MHz transmit and receive frequency ranges. The radio may only be operated with an amateur radio licence. Selectable 10 W or 5 W transmit power, 257 memory channels, a colour TFT display, Dual PTT support and a 3600 mAh battery provide configurable operation for a range of radio communication tasks.
