Further details of CX 160 U VHF Base Antenna, 160-164 MHz

The Sirio CX 160 U is a VHF base station antenna designed for use in the 160-164 MHz frequency range. The antenna features a 3/4-wavelength coaxial J-Pole design and is constructed from aluminum tubes and nylon elements. The Gamma Match feed system provides a grounded design to protect against static discharge. No tuning is required within the specified frequency range.

Sirio CX 160 U Installation

The antenna can be mounted using a steel mounting bracket. The package includes two U-clamps, four M6 flat washers, four M6 spring washers, and four M6 hex nuts for mounting to the mast.

The Gamma Match impedance-matched design results in a grounded antenna, which provides protection against static discharges. The antenna requires no tuning in the 160-164 MHz frequency range.
