IEC and F adapters are used to convert or extend coaxial antenna connections. Straight, 90-degree and feed-through antenna adapter designs
Straight couplers connect two connectors in line, while 90-degree IEC-F, F-F and BNC adapters have an angled design. The BNC feed-through range includes nut-mounted and four-hole flange versions with Teflon insulation. Some F adapters have a screw-type design, while the Goobay coaxial coupler is designed for RG-6 cable.
What should be considered regarding 75 Ohm impedance and technical specifications?
Some Triax adapters have a 75 Ohm impedance and EN50117 A+ class screening effectiveness. Their documented screening attenuation is above 95 dB between 30 and 1000 MHz, above 85 dB between 1000 and 2000 MHz, and above 75 dB between 2000 and 3000 MHz. The 90-degree versions have a frequency range of 5 to 1000 MHz.
