• The SCU can work with multiple radios and multiple channels. In such cases, the user can choose from three preset sound profiles: Mix, Split, and Surround
• The SCU-300 enables wireless connection between the SCU and compatible headsets (3M PELTOR ComTac VII and 3M PELTOR Tactical Earplug, TEP-300).
• The SCU uses Near Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI) technology to transmit audio wirelessly to the headphones.
• The 3M PELTOR System Control Unit, SCU-300, is the central component of the 3M PELTOR Tactical Modular Audio System (TMAS). The SCU can work with multiple radios and multiple channels. In addition to standard wired connections, the SCU-300 allows wireless connection between the SCU and compatible headsets. The SCU can also be controlled remotely using the remote control unit (RCU, included).
