Icom's mobile marine radios are also capable of sending ATIS and MMSI codes. The ATIS code is used in inland navigation, while the MMSI code is used in maritime navigation. Both codes are obtained from the communications authority with the marine radio license. Our company will take over the acquisition of the navigation radio license from you within the framework of a representation order, if required. Mobile marine radios can be installed in small boats, yachts and other vessels as well as on a table or counter at a dispatcher station. Please note that installation on a boat requires a special boat radio antenna, which can be found in our company's product catalogue. In Icom's marine radio portfolio the shortwave (MF/HF) marine radios can be also found.
