This problem has been solved by plug-in wireless chargers, which are not only practical but also discreet. These devices do not require any cables or plugs, just place the phone near the charger and you're ready to charge. Also known as Qi chargers, you can get them from us at great prices.

How do Qi chargers work?

The term Qi itself stands for the Chinese word 'qi', which means life energy. The development of induction chargers started in 2008, with the help of several companies. Today, nearly 500 mobile phone and tablet manufacturers have joined the standard, including global brands such as Apple, Google, Huawei and Samsung.

In simple terms, of course, Qi chargers work by creating an electromagnetic field around themselves. When a compatible device is placed near the charger, the coil inside the device can pick up the energy and convert it into the current needed to charge the battery. Although wireless charging is a novelty in the world of mobile phones, it has been a standard solution in other areas for decades (including electric toothbrushes).

What we need to make sure is that the phone we want to charge supports the Qi standard. To do this, it is worth checking the specifications of the device. If Qi support is available, you can use your phone with any brand of wireless charger. Thanks to the standard, all chargers are compatible with all Qi-enabled phones. Some manufacturers also offer accessories that can be used to convert any phone to wireless charging.

In which situations is a plug-in wireless charger useful?

Vehicles

In-car wireless chargers are useful in many situations. With this solution, there is no need for wires at all in the passenger compartment and no need for a converter adapter when travelling abroad. In addition to passenger cars, Qi chargers are also a great choice for trucks, trains, buses or even special vehicles.

Community spaces

Wireless chargers are not only convenient and useful on the road. They can also be used in a restaurant, café or hotel, providing guests with a lightning-fast charging option. Because they are built-in, they can be discreetly hidden in a table, sofa or other furniture. They are dust and waterproof to IP65, so there is no need to worry about damage, even under extreme conditions.
